• Although this is not the first Neal Morse album, it is his first album after leaving Spock's Beard, it his his first "Christian Progressive Rock" release, and the first to feature Mike Porntoy on drums.
• Although there are 29 tracks (not counting bonus releases) the album actually comprises of 5 suites. The first one is the first 9 tracks of disc 1 and is 41:08, the remaineder of the disc makes up the 2nd one which is 31:38. The third suite is the first 3 tracks of the second disc and is 12:06, the second is the next six tracks and is 28:19 and the last comprises of the last five tracks and is 10:33.
• The first and last tracks (of the album proper) have the same name, a trick repeated on ?.
