James LaBrie "fun facts"

• Is the only foreign member of DT, as he is Canadian.
• Real first name is Kevin, started going by James when he joined DT because there already was a Kevin in the band, as well as two Johns
• Favorite drink is rum and coke
• Also plays drums, although hasn't done so extensivly since he was 15
• Recently did get behind the drumset for Nightmare Cinema 2.0
• Auditioned for Dream Theater by sending a tape of his band Winter Rose
• Was chosen over about 200 other applicants.
• Is known to change song lyrics to be funny live, most likely at the prompting of Mike Portnoy.
• Came up with the idea for "mullmuzzler" as being someone who silences or quells another persons idea before it's expressed. Most mullmuzzler songs are written over the phone.
• Was not allowed to use mullmuzzler as the title of his first album with the artist being listed as "James LaBrie" so he made mullmuzzler the band name and called the album "Keep it to Yourself" His second album is under his name and is called Mullmuzzler 2.
